I’m pretty sure these paintings by Tokuhiro Kawai perfectly describe how Trixie imagines her life. I’m pretty sure she sees her human caretakers as fat little cherubs who, when they’re not worshipping her, keep her in good food. No problemo, Trix. I’m sure you deserve it.
Just when I’ve begun to despair because I’m running low on pictures of the Trix, I find a gem like this, and everything is ok once again.
This may not be Trixie, but I’m pretty sure this is exactly what she’d look like if she DJ’d…angry expression and all.
Put your paws in the air!
As I’ve been running low on Trixie pictures, I’ve been trying to decide what to do with Tuesdays. I was thinking of featuring some adoptable kitties for anyone who wants their own crazy cat, but this week I got distracted by…
I don’t even know how to process these guys. It’s like an alien bred with a skunk bred with a monkey bred with a Pikachu and VOILA. Sugar glider!
There are a few on Petfinder, and almost all the descriptions warn that they are not particularly friendly critters. You may be able to tame them down…or they’re just going to be perpetually angry. Hard to say. One adoptable sugar glider was named “Pissy Pixie.” Looovely.
But when they’re this weirdly cute, they can be just as pissy as they please.
No, this isn’t Trixie, but believe me, this was a Trix move in her baby days. I’m not sure if she did it because she’s a scaredy-cat or because she’s super tough, but she did this thing all. the. time. Crazy Trix.
If anyone has been looking to get a Trixie of their very own, may I please direct your attention to Austin Pets Alive’s posting on Craigslist!
This little kitty is such a Trix doppelganger, right down to the awesome goatee marking!
I wonder if she has the same attitude…Seeing as how the ad describes her as “spunky” and “not intimidated by her bigger brothers,” I tend to think we may have another Trix terror on our hands.

She stalks. She waits.
I just watched Beasts of the Southern Wild and the little girl, Hush Puppy, reminds me so much of Trix. Tough, scrappy, spirited, and maybe a bit disconnected with reality.
Skip to the very end of the trailer (1:48) if you want to see some Trix behavior in cute little girl form:
