Muddling Through.

It’s easy to give up. It’s easy to find excuses as to why you’re going to do it tomorrow, or the day after, or the week/month/year after that. It’s too hard. I’m not smart enough, good enough, strong enough. I’m much better at taking naps and watching tv. No one cares anyway if I do it.

You’re only responsible to yourself. This means you can give up if you so choose, or you can decide to move forward. Ignore the difficulty and bluster on. After all, isn’t adulthood about lurching in one direction, and doing your best as you go?  You can do it. You just need to muddle through for a while. And just don’t stop.

THIS POST BROUGHT TO YOU BY CRUSH AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER. YIKES.

You’ll be surprised by how the “yikes” factor goes down if you allow yourself one leisurely cup of tea, coffee, cocoa, drink of choice early in each day. It gives you time to take stock of what else you have to do that day. THEN you can start to panic.
