Best Use of Giphy

11 Feb

Maybe it’s old news, but there’s a new search engine called Giphy that makes it possible to just search GIFs. I don’t know about you, but I have wasted a ton of time trying to find the perfect GIF for blog posts. I have scrolled around Tumblr and done the straight-up Google thing, but it always seems to take forever to find the perfect animation of Beyoncé shaking her tush. And now, that’s all a thing of the past!

There are so many uses I can think of for Giphy.

Let’s see…

You could flirt through the internet, Bey style.

bey cute and ballin

You could illustrate your obviously superior intelligence.

Or you could really show how you feel about grad school/work/LIFE.

Or of course there’s this use:

gosling notebook kiss

Or, um, this one:

sexy gosling notebook

Whoa, whoa, whoa. This is a PG-13 blog, Mr. Gosling! Let’s cool it down a bit, shall we?

gosling pizza

Much better. Nom.

You may all say these are silly uses of a very important tool. I’d say Gosling ogling is the ONLY important use. Damn.

Now answer why some GIFs work on WordPress while others don’t.

P.S. Your Giphy link isn’t working.

Thank you for letting me know! Apparently WordPress had very nicely automatically resized the GIFs, which made them static. And the URL…that’s an error related to late night blogger distraction.

So the post should be at its maximum silliness now. Thanks again! 🙂

Oh, so don’t resize. Tip of the day; thanks!
