When I first started sleeping on roommate’s couch this summer, Trixie could take or leave me. She’s not the cuddliest, so sometimes she’d sleep right at my feet, and other times she’d just sleep under the couch. That was until I discovered her absolute favorite blanket. Now, I wake up with her fully spooning my leg, stretched out to full length on the Trixie blanket. It’s impressive to see how long she can be. Her little white back toes are at the very top of this picture. Look at how long she is! Good job, Trixie Trix.
I have been feeling like I could use a bit of jet-setting recently. I love being in California, and I’ll be taking a crazy long road trip in a couple weeks, but still, I feel like I need to get away.
Maybe a trip to Japan to see the cherry blossoms and the cherry blossoms cats is necessary…
First of all, I’m happy to report that I got to hang out with the amazing Trix on Saturday and Sunday. It was just like old times: she begged me for food while acting all cute, ran around the apartment like an insane animal, couldn’t leave the bathroom door alone whenever I was in there, cuddled up on the couch…and then bit my butt when I wasn’t paying enough attention to her. Aw, Trix. I missed you too.
I have pictures from that encounter, but unfortunately I’m on my parents’ computer and can’t get to them now. So, instead, here’s a picture of Flickr user L.Lukatsky’s insane flying Trixie cat. Seems like I didn’t get the only cray black and white kitty out there.
